These are some of the experienced improvisation theatre teachers who lead the courses from beginner to advanced.

Lyn Pierse

Lyn Pierse is the director of this training program.

She pioneered Theatresports® teaching across Australia, New Zealand and Japan and for 35 years has been at the grass roots of teaching and directing improvisation and Theatresports including the “Cranston Cup”, “CelebrityTheatresports®,” Radio & Television and staged productions and extravaganzas at the Enmore, Belvoir Street, Adelaide Festival, Expo ‘88 and the Sydney Opera House.

Since graduating NIDA she has appeared in; “The Pigeons,” Berkhoff’s, “Greek”,“Measure For Measure”, “Women of Lockerbie,” “The Fabulous Punch and Judy Show”, the improvised "Tabloid Musical', "Home and Away"All Saints"and on SBS TV”S “Going Home”.

As Sister Mary Leonard hosting various events; Theatresports at Sydney Opera House, Enmore Theatre. Belvoir Street Theatre.

She played in the first night of Sydney Theatresports in the Southern Cross All Stars; the first Cranston and National Champions.

Lyn teaches improvisation at NIDA, for ACA stand up comedy, Shakespeare and Improvisation, AADA Improvisation and Acting. She ais the director of this improvisation training program including the Theatresports® Teacher Accreditation and workshops for adult players, young people and corporate clients. She has taught workshops training teachers for NIDA Open Program, University of Sydney, Macquarie University, NADIE, EDA, University of New England, Sophia University Tokyo and for the UNESCO Chair Romania.

She has staged comedy events including “Women In Comedy”, “Virgin Comics”, “Comics on the Cross” and SIDS "Ridiculous"State Theatre Sydney, Improvised Shakespeare-"Much Ado About Impro and in 2012 will venture into improvised film.

She is the author of the widely studied text "Improvisation: the Guide"

Josie O’Reilly

Josephine O’Reilly is a Cranston Cup grand champion who began playing at Sydney University. As a comedy performer Josephine has starred at theMelbourne Comedy Festival and was based in Europe for nine years with the comedy shows Boom Chicago and the acclaimed Irish comedy trio, the “Nualas”. Both acts enjoyed sell out extended runs in New York, London, and the Edinburgh Festival, toured England and Ireland extensively and recorded comedy series for BBC Radio 4. “Boom Chicago” and the “Nualas” have received critical acclaim in the international press.

Josephine continues to work internationally as a communications trainer and comedy performer.

Ewan Campbell

Ewan has been involved in improv since starting Theatresports in 1986. He has graced the stage of many theatres in Sydney and beyond including Belvoir St and the Enmore Theatre. Ewan has hosted numerous Improvisation extravaganzas including the Cranston Cup and Celebrity Theatresports. He has also performed in shows such as Hamlet Improvised, the long running Lost in Space and the unspeakable Mockbeth, and is a multiple Cranston cup winner.

Ewan is also an accomplished MC and corporate performer, trainer and facilitator. He is Australia’s number 1 TV warm artist and has worked on many shows ranging from The Midday Show, The Footy Show and Enough Rope with Andrew Denton.
