This is a week long intensive Theatresports® Teacher Accreditation course for Primary, Seconday and after school teachers of Drama. Music, Visual Arts and other improvisation and realted programs who are ready to take the leap.
It is not for the faint hearted. Teachers must have a working knowledge of the games and be familiar with the Improvisation foundations and skills as outlined in Level One and Two or the Teachers Tookit Games Games Games programs.

• Play and workshop the games at grassroots level

*Teach and experiment with the games and their structures

• Workshop tites and list scene starts
• Create lesson plans
• Have your teaching method exposed, explored and expanded

*Work with a group of peers and a group of teenagers *Reconnect with and confirm your instinctive responses to your teaching and your students

In this class each participant presents a lesson plan and leads a 45 minute session. Each teacher gives and receives supportive feedback.

Class Outcomes

• Teachers will have their sidecoaching technique honed and confident
• They will learn the processes and methods that bring the games to life
• They will understand and use scafiolding and seqencing that develops the excersices from warmups to specific Theatresports®performance games
• They wil deep their understanding and have a greater working knowledge of improvisation as a teaching method
• They will understand the function of improvisation as a teaching tool

*They will experience their improved sidecoaching and teaching ability in action *They will have direct and supportive feedback *They will understand the role of ‘competitive’ play; When to and when not and how to introduce it

• They will have taught a full session and experienced supportive feedback from the group leader and their peers
• They will have a thorough understanding of a wide range of games and exercises and a knowlege of how to apply and teach them

At the end of the course Accredited Teachers receive a certificate.
