Long form improvisation offers players the opportunity to explore
characters, character relationships, themes and diverse narrative
styles without the boundaries of game structure, all from a single
word.
Using an alternative improvisation approach to short form Theatresports,
’longform’ teaches players to use and create scenes that last forever.
Situations can be repeatedly revisited.
Issues can be figured out and then distorted all over again.
With heavy emphasis on relationship and character manner, longform
workshop lays the foundation to thinking in terms of extended scene play.
